Anton Du Beke stars in the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of Ballet Shoes, which heads out on a major UK tour in 2027/28.

Making his National Theatre debut, he takes on the roles of Great Uncle Matthew and Fidolia.

Adapted by Kendall Feaver from Noel Streatfeild’s much-loved novel and directed by Katy Rudd, the five-star production follows adopted sisters Pauline, Petrova and Posy as they begin to discover who they are – and where their individual ambitions might take them.

Growing up together in a crumbling house filled with fossils and dinosaur bones, the three sisters set out on very different paths. With the help of their guardians and an unconventional collection of lodgers, they must find the confidence to pursue their passions while working out what family means to them.

The tour begins in August 2027 and includes a limited run at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.
