Everyone’s talking about Jamie… because there is something about Jamie… he doesn’t quite fit in – but he’s going to be a sensation!

Inspired by a true story, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie tells the story of 16-year-old Jamie New, who grows up on a council estate in Sheffield and dreams of becoming a drag queen.

Supported by his brilliant, loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie confronts prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness – into the spotlight.

With “songs that have the wow factor” (The Times) by Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling, and a “funny, fabulous, feel-good” book and lyrics by Tom MacRae, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has become one of the most loved British musicals of the last decade.

Speaking about the 10th anniversary tour, producer Nica Burns said:
