GOD HELP US, EVERYONE!
A brand new Mischief production, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong brings festive mayhem to stages across the UK as the Cornley Amateur Drama Society attempt their most ambitious challenge yet – staging Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
This new show from the creators of The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery sees the accident-prone Cornley crew tackle Ebenezer Scrooge’s tale with their usual blend of determination, miscommunication and unstoppable chaos. With set pieces going awry, actors missing in action and an increasingly fraught battle over who gets to play the lead, their well-meant production slides into glorious disaster.
Packed with Mischief’s trademark timing, inventive physical comedy and escalating theatrical calamities, the show offers a fresh, riotous twist on a Christmas classic. It’s a festive slice of pure escapism, celebrating everything audiences love about the Cornley universe while delivering a completely new story.
From creative mishaps to backstage feuds, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong promises laughter, warmth and a spectacularly shambolic night out for the whole family.
