Brainiac Live returns for 2026 – bigger, bolder and more mischievous than ever. Fresh from winning the 2025 Olivier Award for Best Family Show, the UK’s favourite high-energy science spectacular explodes back onto the stage with a brand-new blast of experiments and madness.
Watch safely from your seat as the fearless Brainiacs dive into the weird and wonderful world of everyday science. Expect loud bangs, flashing lights, smoke and haze as they do everything on stage that you’re definitely too scared to try at home.
Born in London in 2008, Brainiac Live has grown into the world’s most popular family science show, travelling from the West End to Sydney Opera House, Hong Kong, Dubai, Barcelona and beyond. The team combines expert theatre creatives with leading science communicators to create a fast-paced ride of liquid nitrogen clouds, vortex smoke rings, exploding hydrogen balloons, spinning CO2 chairs and more.
The ethos is simple – make you laugh, make you listen, make you learn. Loved by brave audiences of all ages, Brainiac Live continues to inspire children, parents and grandparents through pure, joyful entertainment. The show also connects with its roots in the hit Sky One series Brainiac: Science Abuse, maintaining a close relationship with ITV Studios.
Content warning: loud bangs, flashing lights, smoke and haze effects so may not be suitable for very young or noise-sensitive children.
