Rambert’s It’s a Sin is a powerful new dance work inspired by the award-winning Channel 4 series created by Russell T Davies.

Directed and choreographed by Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, the production brings the world of It’s a Sin to the stage through movement, music and striking visual storytelling.

Set in 1980s London, It’s a Sin follows Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill as they search for identity, connection and a life on their own terms. In a world of music, friendship and freedom, life feels full of possibility.

But as the AIDS crisis begins to unfold, their lives are changed forever. Love, fear and defiance collide as they fight for each other in a world that is becoming increasingly hostile.

Performed by Rambert’s extraordinary dancers, It’s a Sin weaves past and present into a moving story told through dance, asking who gets remembered, who gets left behind and how we choose to live now.

Presented by Rambert and Factory International, the production is co-produced with Wales Millennium Centre, Capital Theatres, Sadler’s Wells and Les Théâtres de la Ville. Executive Producers are Russell T Davies, Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell.
